Hypothetical: Seniors are granted an extra year of eligibility.

It won't be Wichita State or UCONN. LOL Hard to know if Memphis will have an improved team, despite them having some talented young players. Houston will likely continue to bring in solid players. I can see a few other teams trend upwards, but it's hard to know right now since I haven't followed recruiting classes.

I bet UC holds onto everyone who isn't graduating.

I thought there could be a chance Harvey transfers because he'd be pissed about not playing, but he clearly turned a bit of a corner and got on the floor more. He still has a long way, but I expect him to have a solid summer of improvement and learning Brannen's system.

It’s kinda Harvey’s team now. Him, Keith, maw, Vogt and dou. Their team. Like you said, no reason for them to go anywhere.

I doubt anyone would stay in such a situation. It sucks for the seniors. Really sucks. But they'll have to move on with the next chapters in their life.

Brannen will hopefully get a grad transfer or two to supplement the current roster. I'm excited about the incoming frosh but I don't expect too much in year 1.

Agree about the seniors. It sucks but seniors deal with situations out of their control every year. Kenyon is the first to come to mind. Really unfortunate but that’s life sometimes

mcneal would 10000000000% come back.

Not sure if you're joking or not, but no way he comes back. None of the seniors will imo. Time to move on for all of them. McNeal lost his starting job to a freshman mid-way through the season and averaged less than 10 min a game the last 12 or 13 games or so. He'd play walk-on minutes next year. No offense to him and best of luck for him in the future, but I don't see it happening.

If NCAA allows for a redshirt, why wouldnt Mcneal come back? Jarron and Tre will make money playing somewhere so they wont come back. But Its not like mcneals playing anywhere for money. So he would definitely want a redo on his final year of college ball considering how poorly he played. If his options are between a real world job or 1 final shot at college basketball and making the tournament he will easily choose college basketball

I dont want him back, but if the NCAA allows it, hes coming back.

I would tend to think a vast majority of people would choose to leave in the same situation.

I'd have to disagree. Coming back would also require him to be a full time student and that would also assume CJB wants him back. I don't think its a given he'd be back if allowed. Staying one more year won't give him any more of an opportunity to go pro than right now. He'd have to really like practices because it is likely he wouldn't play all that much. I think it's all moot anyway because I don't think that will happen.

Wouldn't high school's have to do the same thing?

Or else you would have a shit ton of people on campus all over the country.
