I wonder if they are out late the night before the game. Day games are played on the weekends so it'd make some sense. If there's a curfew perhaps they're up late playing XBox. Whatever it is they need to figure it out because Saturday's game is big in terms of positioning themselves. It is a game they should win and need to win with what's coming in terms of UConn, WVU, and 'Cuse. Whatever the reason the energy and motivation is sorely lacking in these games.

A big crowd Saturday ought to help get these guys fired up...and I don't think attendance will be a problem.

The game is at noon so given past history that is a problem. However, I will be home in plenty of time for my 7:30pm bedtime.

I get the not being at 100% for the early games, especially for college kids, (not saying I excuse it, I just understand, I'm a night owl myself) but the thing is it's the same for both teams. If we play at noon, our opponent plays at noon. I doubt our kids are worse than any other team's kids at getting to bed on time before an early game. It could just be that our guys don't have the pure skill to be effective when playing at 75-80%. And I don't mean that as a knock on our players, but I don't think anyone can argue when our players are off they disappear. We win when we execute a gameplan and play at a high level. Hopefully as the wins come the level of recruits continue to improve and this isn't an issue for long.

I understand that noon games have been a problem in the recent past, but this is the second game in the 4-pack mini plan that, by all accounts, sold very well. The attendance at the Notre Dame game showed that. Additionally this is a team coming off its biggest win of the season. I have a good feeling about the crowd Saturday...I know I'll be there.
