The game is on ABC at noon, at a sold out Nippert Stadium. The 5th ranked Bearcats (10-0) will square off against the Fighting Illini (3-7) for the very first time.

You never know what Illinois team will show up. Williams & Benn could finally hook up and have a decent game. But, then again, they could just play like they have been and stink the whole place up.

Game starts in a half hour. Kelly said that Pike is just about all the way back....which once again makes me believe this game is all about preparing Pike for Pitt.

Uh oh...Illinois marches down the field and is now up 7 to zip. UC needs to commit to stopping the run, and forcing Juice to pass. He is killing us w/ his legs....of course his td pass looked pretty good....and his WR was wide open to boot.
UC historically is not so good on the first series defensively, so let's kick it into gear!

Gilyard is such a dynamic player. Only 2 yards on offense and it's tied... can't argue with that. Juice Williams looks surprising crisp. I imagine that will wear off and he'll revent into his poor decisionmaking ways.

They have to. This is a statement out-of-conference game if they're going to sneak into the BCS title game. You've got to figure Florida will play Bama for the SEC Championship, so they need to somehow try to score style points to leapfrog Texas and TCU.
