Munchie is the starting QB. I am not overly thrilled with a run first pass second QB, unless his name is Tim Tebow.

Butch obviously thinks Munchie is the best option so it is what it is. Leguex Munchie!

I don't know if I'd define him as a run first QB, but regardless a QB that can run typically is more successful in the college game these days, plus it suits Butch's style of play. With that said, for the Bearcats to win this year, he will have to show he can complete passes. Can't wait for Sept. 6!

I hope the angle of his throwing motion has changed drastically, he is too tall to have that many passes batted down at the line.

@Ralph He's pass first then run. Not sure where you got that idea from.

@Bearcat_NTS He has reworked his mechanics from the the spring onward. They are much better than when he came into the program.

If he's stopped releasing the ball low, I think the offense should actually be a lot more interesting this year. I'm more worried about the linebacker core than anything. I believe without Coombs, we'll have better pass coverage and I think we'll have enough depth at the D-line.
I'm really interested in how good this team will be the season after this one. This off season has left me wanting to see some games though.
