To just scream about how tough the Big East is. I mean really. I wouldn't switch conferences for anything because I love seeing my team compete against to the best in America.

It sucks because we have played well lately. But it is against Top 10 teams in the country.

I dont ever want to go back to the days where our big games are against Charlette. But it would be a lot easier. If this team was playing in C-USA we would be a tournament team without any doubt in my mind. These game we cant finish in a weaker conference would be wins.

Like I said I love that the regular season I have seen my team play against Syracuse, Villanova, WVU, Vandy, Maryland, X, Gonzaga, Pitt, Marquettem UAB, Louisville, and ND. Those are all teams that are in our receiving votes in the Top 25.

I like that our worst teams are people like St. Johns where it is at MSG. I wouldnt enjoy having to watch my team play the Tulane, Fordums, and St. Bonneventures of the world with the big game being like St. Mary's.

We haven't accomplished what I though we could have this year but it really isn't that far off. Easily 4 games could have gone our way. We would be 20-9 and probably in the Top 25. But we don't finish.

We dont finish because of our lack of a clutch player. We dont finish because our coach hasn't consistently shown he know how to handle those situations. We dont finish because we show a general lack of desperation. When other teams get that desperation we rarely match.

It would be easier to be in another conference, but I wouldnt take it. We need to get better. Plain and simple.

Our 7th team in the country pounded Duke and is 19th in the country. If you arent a Top 20 team in this league your odds of making the tourny go way down.

Keep the chin up, UC will be fine. The team is really close. I think adding Kilpatrick will be hige for next year.

I think we will be better next year and I think we are better this year than last even if the number dont indicate that.

Our SOS is much tougher and we have been in so many games were if we hit a shot or a board we win.

We aren't far off at all which is why I am so frustrated. I hate that yesterday my brother and I were discussing our starting lineup for next year.

This is the season of what-if's.

As fans, we have high expectations, especially given the fact that UC had a high amount of returning players, and an incoming frosh who scored the most points in NY state history. Those are usually a formula for success. What is hurting UC the most is consistency on offense. When UC is making shots, moving the ball, moving without the ball, driving into the lane...the team looks great. When they don't, it can be bad. I call it a tale of two teams.

TheGreatOne, totally agree. I would contend actually that we would not only be in the tournament were we still in CUSA, we could be somewhere around a 5 seed. Early wins against Vanderbilt and Maryland, OT losses to Gonzaga and Xavier, and we would roll through CUSA with few exceptions. This is a 25-win team in CUSA.

Be careful putting that much pressure on a mediocre recruit who has sat out a year. I'm hoping that Mick can get these guys to understand their roles and how to play team bball. It is obvious we have the talent, they just need to put it together.

I think Kilpatrick will help but to say its huge is a a little much. I think Lance and Cash having a full offseason in the program will be bigger than Kilpatrick coming on. Would LOVE to see Ibra and Bishop take the next step as well.

Talent is there......just need everyone to come together.
