He has to win player of the game for yesterdays performance off the bench. IF he can continue to add 8-10 points off the bench it will be great for the team as he can guard many positions and has greatly improved all around. He also played pretty solid defense on Daniels

he has shown spurts of being very good and clutch. he did it against Marquette too when he got to start due to cash's injury. im not sure what the scholarship situation is but I am pretty sure somebody has to go. I have thought it would be sanders cause I just can see anyone else. anyways, he has shown to have some talent and he hit some big shots yesterday

Sanders is better than Guyn and Gaines. I think you would see one of those 2 leave before Sanders leaves. Hopefully, someone goes prep, SK declares, or someone mutually agrees to leave/pay their own way. I have an idea-get somebody to play another sport and have them get their scholly through that sport instead of b-ball.

why in the heck would you want sk to declare???? also, if we don't have guyn next year, who will play point guard? if not sanders, who would it be? it better not be shaq. It wont be rubles, jackson, or nyarsuk as they will be seniors. it wont be one of the 5 incoming recruits. I don't think it will be gaines because if he goes we have 2 centers: nyarsuk and Strickland so I don't think there is enough depth. sanders plays at a position where we have the most depth.

This is a silly conversation. A) Mormon is yet to qualify B) if he does I can guarantee you something is already worked out. Mick wouldn't have offered the scholarships if there wasn't already a plan in place C) Sanders isn't leaving. He's played in 29 games and averaging just under 13 mpg. Let's get real.

Sanders?? He plays?? Why would he go? It would be Gaines but I can't see Mick doing that to a player hes invested three years in already. I would vote Dave to go but he would be missed. Ask Morman to go to prep maybe.

I don't think he will, just listing all possibilities. JD3 is way better than Guyn, but I agree, I doubt that Guyn would leave. Gaines would make the most sense, but we don't have lots of centers. Mormon might not qualify, but Strickland is a definite, we need his size. Lawrence and Caupain are locks. KJ might be asked to go prep. Sanders has too much skill and provides another desperately needed scoring option. Shaq is a lock to stay, way too much potential. SK would be dumb to leave, but plenty of people have made that dumb decision.

sanders isn't going anywhere. he was a "target" for mick.

things will work out, even if a player has to go, i promise you it wont be sanders.

oh, and to the op original point of this thread, yes hats off to jermaine for playing a huge role in the win.

I don't see anyone leaving. Whatever will happen in my opinion will either be a non-qualifier, early entry, or another way to play and pay. KJ wouldn't have been offered to be asked to go prep.

Like you said, Im sure something has already been arranged, but I was just curious which you thought it is.....

We should have Guyn run track, he can fly. Too bad that I think title 9 took out mens track. Better yet, have big Dave run track, I would pay to see that entertainment. Limbs would fly everywhere and he'd probably take up 2 lanes...

I would be shocked if both Guyn and Davis aren't back. Not so shocked if Mormon doesn't qualify or SK leaves. If I were to guess I'd say with Rubles, Jackson, Nyarsuk, Gaines, Strickland, Lawrence all on the low post that if some type of move was made it'd be Gaines or Nyarsuk. Everyone talks about the guard log jam and forgets some of these guys will play the 3. It's not like all these guards will play the 1 or 2.

I wonder if KG remembers what it feels like to be a force in basketball and not be the worst one on the floor? No way has he felt good about his game since being at UC. He is in way over his head here.
