LaSalle's Aaric Murray, a 6'10" 250 lb. sophmore center, is transferring. Rutgers, St. John’s, West Virginia, UConn, Oklahoma State, Texas, Florida, Kansas and Kentucky are recruiting him. Murray would be a tremendous pick up as a transfer. He averaged 15.2 ppg and 7.7 rebounds (over half were offensive) a game while shooting 76% from the foul line. Murray also shot 35% from the three point line, making 20 in 57 attempts. Defensively he averaged over 2 blocks a game and a steal.

As a freshman he averaged 12.2 ppg, 6.6 rpg, and shot 36% from the 3 point line.

I wouldnt touch him because he showed an incrediable lack of judgement by choosing Lasalle!

I wouldn't mind Mick making a run at him. Could be tough to get in deep at this point. He was recruited by WVU at one time and Kansas is Kansas. Oklahoma State is said to be in his top 3 as well. I like this young man.

For this to make sense, you would have to have someone currently on the roster transfer, as a JUCO big man next year would still be important.

I agree. I think the only way this happens is if Mick is unable to land a JUCO Big man that he wants. If God's Gift is ready to commit to UC after his visit on the 8th, I think you can take it to the bank. There are many schools chasing a few bigs. I think you only see UC get involved here if Mick strikes out on the JUCOs.

He won't be on the market long...Can't wait for GG's visit. It's the only sure visit he is taking. Hopefully it's the last.

You can't be in a better position than UC is in right now. The only better visit to have than the first, is the last. If you get the first AND the last, you usually get the prospect. Let's hope that is the deal here with GG.
