Just a little curious what all of you think/predict will happen the rest of the regular season and after the regular season. I think the team really turns it around after that ECU loss and they realize that they were just showed that anyone could beat anyone, so don't take anything to easily. I think Ellis starts playing more like he did against ECU, Sanders will continue to step up, and Caupain will still be the leader. Also believe we haven't seen Clark's best performance of the season, really think he will keep producing at a high level for a freshman, and will keep improving.

I'm very back and fourth between my decision with what will happen @SMU, part of me thinks that the Cats will play their best game of the season and win, but a bigger part of me sees that we are playing @Moody and it's a very tough place to play, and it doesn't make it easier that SMU is seeking revenge. I still believe they will lose, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if they won. Other than that game, I think we will be favored in the rest of the games (not sure about X). I can see us winning out, after the SMU game, but I don't think it will happen because of the lack of experience on the team. So I could see us 9-1 the rest of the way, if they play Bearcat basketball, but I believe 8-2 or 7-3 is more realistic.

As for the conference tournament, I could see us winning it and I think we will, but I could also see us losing to UCONN in the championship (or earlier based on when/if we played them) just because it is on their home court.

As for the NCAA tournament, I think we will get in no matter if my predictions are wrong or not, unless we have a losing or horrid record from here on out. If what I think could happen happens, a 9-1 possibly 8-2 record from here on out and a conference tournament championship, we could get as high as maybe a 6 seed? (I'm not sure, I have never been good with predicting seeds)... But if that does happen, depending on who we play, we could win a game in the tournament. And if we get lucky with the 3 seed team we would play, maybe 2 wins, but now I think I'm just dreaming:D Anyway, realistically, I see us getting a 9 seed and playing Michigan State. Not sure how we would do in that game, only team we have played that they have played in Nebraska, and they lost @Nebraska 79-77. So who knows, would be fun to beat them, and if we did I know we would lose to a 1 seed, unless we pulled a Miracle on the Court;)

I honestly don't know what to expect out of this team the final 10 games. Here's to hoping it's 10-0!

ESPN's bracket has us in the 8/9 game vs Dayton with Kentucky as the #1 seed all played in Louisville. That would be awesome from a fans perspective.

Not a chance, your dreaming

Not a chance we lose all three. Fans need to relax, people get way to down every year after a loss. Ya it was a bad loss but we are still in the tourny and are still the same team we saw against uconn, nc state, sdst, temple, ect. They played bad it was a Sunday afternoon against a bad teem coming off an emotional rivalry win they simply weren't ready to play and thought they could walk by them. Trust me that won't happen again and they will be focused from here on out. They will be ready to play Thursday they got embarrassed there last year and had their fans storm right in front of them. It will be tough but I think we got this one thursday

Good read, Bearcat Rob. It is great to be a bearcat fan. We have march madness and baseball ahead of us. GO CATS!

Like the way you think. Would not shock me if they won Thursday.

I predict more inconsistency. However, if they want to play in the dance they better get focused as a team. Someone needs to let them know they are now a bubble team and playing for their post season chances. They apparently forgot about all this against ECU. The selfishness of certain individuals not playing hard will probably come back to haunt those on this team who put the team first. We can't afford any more of those selfish games where someone takes a night off of giving effort

Hard for me to project anything with this team at this point. I think I'm trying too hard to nail down the specific "turn the corner" moment. The reality for this team though is that we win at home and are lost on the road. I could see what Bearcatboy said happening to finish out the reg season. I can't get a feel on what we'll do in the conference tournament and beyond though. On one hand, I can see Caupain, Clark and Ellis taking their game a step further and leading us to a few postseason wins and getting us pretty amped up for next year. But on the other hand, I can see us going out with a whimper being away from home and having those embarrassing 45 point games where Shaq Thomas is inexplicably on the wing against a zone. Regardless of how it plays out this year, I don't expect to be 15-6 through 21 games for at least the next 3 years. If we aren't 17-4 or better at this point next year (assuming we have Mick back), I think people are gonna start asking some questions. The only things left for this team to learn imo are how to cut down on turnovers and how to match the other team's intensity in their gym.

I think they will go 8-2 or 7-3. I think they will make the conference tournament final and be somewhere in the 7-10 seed range in the NCAA. Win one then go home. The next 2 years could be the best we've seen in a long while I believe. I think this team will be a top 15 team next season.

At the beginning of the year I had us at 22-9 and that's what we are going to be in the end.

I think you are spot on here.
