Line Up Thoughts

I won't be surprised at all to see UC go with 3 guards and 2 forwards some this coming season. They have forwards in Rubles, Sanders and Thomas that can handle and pass. JJ is a forward who can block some shots. Parker can play 3 positions but I believe the addition of Rubles this coming season will limit his time at the 4 spot.

We will likely see 4 guards with Mbodji and Gaines playing the center, a traditional line up and the 3 guard 2 forward set. This team has so many interchangeable parts and possibilities on both sides of the ball. It should be a fun and exciting season!

Actually I hope that is not the case. I like JJ much better coming off the bench. I hope Shaq starts in his place.

i'd like to see Wright, Kilpatrick, Parker, Thomas, and Jackson.

on defense then i think that we'd see parker guarding the 4 despite playing the 2/3 on offense because he is a better ball handler than Kilpatrick.

That's a great lineup. 4 guys with great experience and who know how to play with each other and a phenomenal young talent.

Without seeing him play against D1 competition my hope is Thomas can start. He can add a dimension to the team other players can't. Wright, Kilpatrick, Parke (I could see Parker playing the 2/3 off the bench and getting starter minutes), Thomas and JJ. However, I think UC will be 10 deep.They will attempt to wear teams down. Guyn, Davis/Parker, Sanders, Rubles and Mbodji will play second team with Gaines getting spot minutes. That's my thoughts as the team now stands. The interesting part will be how the bigs rotate. This will be a deep talented team.

This team is going to have some depth. If they dont run and gun id be shocked.
