The Bearcats will look for redemption in paradise this evening as they hope to atone for yesterday’s 101-93 loss to Arizona while also aiming to defeat Ohio State for the first time in 60 years.

The Buckeyes (3-1) lost to #17 San Diego State 88-77 yesterday in a game that took on a similar trajectory to the UC-Arizona matchup. The Aztecs built a sizable advantage midway through the first half, took an 11-point lead into the halftime break, and comfortably held on for the duration of the game.

OSU was hardly tested in their first 3 games of the season, which saw them win each by an average margin of 29 points, but struggled to slow down an Aztecs offense that shot 50.6% from the field, 47.6% from 3, and 16/20 from the free throw line.

Once-Bearcat transfer candidate Sean McNeil led the Buckeyes with 22 points on 9/14 shooting.

The Buckeyes don’t boast impressive size (in comparison to Arizona) but have good athletes and a number of hungry freshmen from a top 10 2022 recruiting class.

The Bearcats are 3.5 point underdogs.

Two similar teams by the stats. Ohio State shoots even more from the midrange than we do. Hopefully that holds today. They also turn it over a lot and don't get to the line much like us.

Their field goal defense is really good, but defensive efficiency is just ok because they don't cause turnovers.

They are trash. Davenport and ddj force everything. They need to be benched. Miller as usual cannot coach, what a mistake of a hire he was.

What an embarrassment the last three games have been.

They could pay anyone a million dollars to let guys go out and hope their talent can win on offense. There is zero offensive coaching and a bunch of guys who take ridiculous shots but continue to go unchecked. Miller will be gone after next season. To bad it will take that long.

Told everyone from start it was either Paul Mcmillan or Isaiah Miller for hire make sense over Martin. He got neither. Didn't wait on Keith Williams to come back. Couldn't seal deals on Tari and collier. Took Rob over Gaines(watch his virals dunks).

Would all play 30+ until I veterans improve.

Yea, but Miller is a joke so it wouldn’t help. Just run more guys out there with no coaching…. As long as Miller is the coach this program will be dead. I’m sure rayvon and jizzle are rethinking their commitment and the prospect of playing with trash big men can’t be very appealing.

Can team also fire Chad when Miller leaves. Still making fortune off back of black kids and their parents. Never donated NOTHING back to their community though. And top it off has big issue with so called handlers. Biggest scammer in Cincy.

Miller is a guy who got his first head coaching job handed to him without proving anything. Then people say he was the winningest coach under 40… well when you’re gifted a job at 30 years old odds are you’ll have more opportunity than others. What a mistake his dumb ass was.

Watching team stand around looking stupid when it time rebound let me know what type practice he runs. Just think about this, Wes and school hosted kid when they absolutely knew he wasn't coming here and made UC fans cheer for out of state team over local kids. Luke wouldn't bow down to IMG *5 player before he disrespect local school.
