My BIGGEST problem with Mick

Is the hype he gives individuals before they step on the court.

Mick Cronin said Lance was the best recruit in the country and our best recruit since Oscar Robertson. He said Lance will have a great chance to be the #1 overall player taken in the draft.

Why he puts those expectations out there to the fans is beyond me.

Why not say he is a very talented freshman, but he is still a freshman.

He was the biggest recruit during his tenure. However, the last thing a coach needs to do is put public pressure on freshmen.

I agree, if there is one bad thing about mick its he overhypes his recruits. Can't the guy just say we have solid players coming in who I think can make a big impact on our team? Is that so hard to say instead of this guy is going to be the best thing since sliced bread!

Right.

Everyone is compared to a former great bearcat. I know he is just trying to have us being able to relate the player to something but it isn't fair.

IF???? You say IF??? How about the fact that he can't coach at the end of anything. Xavier, Gonzaga, St Johns, all games we were winning in the final minutes but lost. Or how about he cant find a way to end the season strong? 7-27 in Febraury and March just does not get it done. That is just one of the bad things about Mick.
