I know everyone has seen the video from the XU student's perspective and you can sort of tell that Tu initiates contact with Ge but it's difficult to see.

Wellllll on PTI they just showed Local 12's wide broadcast and you can CLEARLY see Holloway shoves/hits Guyn first. Not sure if/when Local 12 will put the video online but after fully seeing that Holloway initiated contact, it's a joke that he get's one game.

After XU fans have been claiming that Guyn started it all, I wonder what their excuse will be now?

I've not seen many people say this, I think pretty much everyone has said Dez started it. Are you the same guy that claimed "a ton of Xavier fans wanted Kilpatrick suspended for his radio comments?" What a joke.

I still think the biggest issue is Kennath cussing out 60 yr old ladies. How that has gotten zero hype is mind boggling.

Because 60 year old ladies have no business getting crosstown tickets in the first place. This is why we need the game later at night, so grandparents are already in bed and don't take tickets from real fans. I'm looking at you, ralph.

No, I read that on here but definitely wasn't me who said that about SK. I think the poster made that up because that's idiotic.

Um, I just visited a Xavier forum and everybody is definitely saying Guyn got in Tu's face and he started the contact...even after seeing the new video. Take off the blue shades for once guys...

Honestly, I haven't had the time to go through all the different threads about the fight. I'm pretty much over it now, and don't really want to read all the threads. I know the other day a ton of Xavier fans said and knew that Wells would get suspended for starting it.

Yeah, I'd want to be over the fight too if new video is coming out that your star player made the first contact...the one who got suspended 1 game. I'm sick of this fight too but I want everyone to realize what really happened because to this point everyone (national and local) just talks about Yancy for the most part, unless they talk about Tu and Lyons and their post game conference - but don't talk about their roles in the fight.

I've also read it on other X boards, but I'm not going back into that cesspool to find the posts.

Clown comment.

That's like saying no seven footer should be on a basketball court if he is a pu$$y....oh wait, it happens too. (Looking at Frease).

Heard on 700 tonight from a fan sitting near those folks it actually wasn't a 60 year old, it was coach Davis's wife and daughter, Frease stepped up coming over the rail, knocked her phone out of her hands and threatened her, her daughter and other around them. Classless act by Frease. Not saying that was the only classless act of the afternoon by far.

... It's a college sporting event, not Ozzfest. Some people just need their parents to smack the shit out of them.

Holy shit, I guess this board is still way too sensitive. It was a joke, calm the hell down.

I guess I'd still be pissed of my number 1 rival just beat the shit out of my team.

I appreciate Octavious Ellis saying that he shouldn't have thrown the first punch, when it didn't appear that he did. That is the one kid I'd be the most worried about in an altercation, he clearly won't take anything from anyone after his childhood and has a reputation of being a bit of a hot head.

Wasn't caught on camera, therefore, chris mack won't suspend frease.

I know this was just a joke- but people actually believe Kenny was in the crowd. Some people believe just about anything.

It is a lot like UC fans who still don't think Gates sucker punched Kenny. The rest of the country thinks so- but about 7,000 UC fans get livid at that. Come on fellas.

Freeze was like that gopher game at Chuckie Cheese (great pizza). He popped his head into a place he had no business popping it and Gates barried him back in the ground

If Tu threw the first punch, will you explain why In UC's presser today, Octavius Ellis--who was directly in front of Tu and watching everything when Dez shoved Guyn--apologized for throwing the first punch.

Meh, our team took the air out of the ball last year, with 6 minutes left and still won by 20. That said, I couldn't be pissed about a basketball game.
I have my God and my ambitions, humanity in all of it's vestiges, is just nauseatingly sentimental details beyond that. But this isn't about me.
So please, keep the personal jabs to yourself. Thanks.

My reply wasn't made in anger, I don't read anger anywhere in my post.
The parents part, was an observation. Undisciplined, disrespectful, immature, oblivious, young men; who are in their 20's and act like that, obviously had problems at home. That doesn't mean I'm angry. I think you read a little too much into people's posts.

As for rivalry? They could win 17 in a row and they'd still just be tied with us in this series. Dayton is a rival of Xavier, so is Butler.
Let them stick with that.

He was coming at the opposing bench, that's never a smart move. Don't care the sport, it could be paddle ball, you still don't do that.
As for Frease, after threatening a woman and her daughter, I'm sorry, I can't be bothered to feel bad for someone like that. He's a douche bag.
Taking out your anger on people who haven't done anything to you, is a female thing.
