Butch Jones has secured one of his first recruits.
Thomas More sophomore receiver Nick Olthaus (Elder) has transferred to the University of Cincinnati, where he will serve as a walk-on. Olthaus will be able to participate in spring football, but will have to sit out the 2010 season due to NCAA transfer rules. He joins former teammate Josh Jones with the Bearcats.
A two-year starter for the Saints as Thomas More claimed back-to-back Presidents' Athletic Conference championships, Olthaus had 25 catches for 601 yards and six touchdowns for the run-oriented offense. Thomas More finished 11-1 this past season
