Would you prefer:

UC dominating the NIT, winning it all. However, Lance blows up and decides to go pro.

Or.

Getting knocked out Monday, and Lance returns.

I truly believe that the key to UC being a very good team next year is Lance, making it a very tough choice. Thoughts? (nothing like being bored watching the NCAA)....

Exactly my thoughts.

Give me Lance next year! Winning the NIT would help recruiting (i guess) but we already have our two guys.

If we lose does Mick go? Can we add that?

Lance next year. UC needs to do better in the BE and make the NCAA tourney. Our long-term recruiting efforts could use the boost.

With the NCAA Tourney expanding to 96 next season UC should be in it.

Lance WILL NOT leave after this year regardless. He has a great group of people that actually are looking out for his best interest. This year it will be very hard to reach the lottery for Lance, however next years draft is potentially wide open.

I would rather win the NIT. There's no guarantee Lance tears it up next year. Plus if Lance is good enough to go pro based on him blossoming late in the year that can only help Mick in recruiting. He can say "Look what I did for Lance Stephenson, I can do that for you." Plus I'm tired of losing. I would cherish closing out the season winning the NIT.

If I were a recruit I would say, "NO THANKS"

A good recruit is not interested in playing in the NIT. No one watches the NIT either. These high school kids are watching the Big Dance. Not UC play in front of 2100.

I think if you are on ESPN recruits will watch.

Well, we're in the NIT whether we win it or not. And high level recruits might look at Lance and say, "a sure fire one and done took two years under Mick."

Under the parameters of the "would you rather" question -- I answered. I think there are a lot more factors at play than one or the other being a definate to happen.
