Thought it deserved it's own thread since it is the offseason. Probably my favorite Bearcat of all-time!

Former All-Star and No. 1 pick Kenyon Martin tells Yahoo Sports that he's saying goodbye to the NBA

Congrats to Kenyon for a great career and a big thank you for his contributions to the program. Oddly enough, I had a dream a few months ago that he (through some strange loophole that only makes sense in a dream) gained a year of eligibility and came back to lead the Bearcats to glory at the ripe age of 37.

Pretty awesome that he was able to play for 15 years with the injuries he had along the way.

Kenyon was a beast. He and Kilpatrick are my favorite all time favorite Bearcats. I hope to see him at some games next year now that he is retired.

I will be interested to see if he gets into coaching. I believe he has his degree. Would love to have him on the bench again if he decides to go that route.

My four years at UC were Kenyon's four years so needless to say he is my favorite all-time Bearcat. I wish I could retire with him... But seriously congratulations to him on an great career and pushing through the injuries and good luck on whatever he pursues next.

This article says he is interested in coaching and has a son who is a 6-3 Freshman who he want to develop into a basketball star....Alright, time for Mick to hire Martin and offer his kid a scholarship.

Kenyon is the greatest bearcat of my time. Such a beast. That DePaul game was the greatest display of the will to win I ever witnessed.
