Illinois State has an interesting team. They only return 3 players from last year's roster and were picked 7th of 10 in the MVC (Drake was picked 5th), but they beat a very good Belmont team in their first game of the season and had two neck-and-neck games with Little Rock (won by 5) and UCF (lost by 2).

Their team features two transfers from San Jose State, one from Eastern Kentucky, and a somewhat familiar face in former Wichita State reserve guard, Ricky Torres.

Through 3 games they've shot over 41% from 3, but with Friday's match-up being their first away from home this season, we'll ideally hold them to a much lower percentage as we did with Drake.

They seem to have a pretty balanced roster otherwise and I think will provide a solid challenge. I think we win by ~10 points.

Yep. Or a $150 annual subscription.

Hopefully some good alternative links pop up come game time.

Who would pay for a subscription to flohoops? Honestly. And it’s more expensive than Netflix and Disney plus. So glad to be done with these dumb tournaments.

For what its worth Justin Williams says Jarron is practicing and is on the plane to St Thomas.

Let's hope a one game wake up call is just what the Dr ordered. If Jarron is serious about his future he will make the most of it.

I would suspect Brannen sat him down and said I am not against you...I will do anything I can to help your career with the exception of naming you coach. Neither player nor coach gets anything out of a lost season for Jarron.

I am looking forward to Jarron working CJB's system to his benefit.

Caved in and bought the flohoops subscription. I hope this is the last tourney we play that is covered by flohoops
