Parker Injury Update

Mick said there was a chance he could play on Sunday. He was supposedly 50/50 to return to this game.

MC's post game indicated for strategic reasons they wouldn't be giving updates on his condition to the Media. I do hope the young man is able to play. We need his athletism against USF.

We really need Park. I love what Jaquon has brought this year. Having said that, if he is not ready I wouldnt play him. Winning yesterday makes that decision a little easier.

I think we will need JJ more in this next game anyway. They have that tall guy that makes 40% of his threes. It would be tough for Parker to guard...and Gates will have to be down low on Gilchrist. If he is healthy...use him for change of pace...if not we have other kids who can play. Don't do anything stupid in other words.

I agree that if Parker is not 100% or rather, in a position where he could injure himself further, the coaches should hold him out against USF.

USF definitely has some height. I think Justin need to be in there more for that one. Justin's gotta keep out of foul trouble because Cheik just gives us nothing on O.

Hope Parker is alright. He has been huge this year. I do think he shoots a bit too much for his skill set but he's definitley a solid player that helps makes the offense go and contributes on defense and rebounding.

I agree as well. March is more important than Sunday. By the way, how about Parker's D on Behanon last night? Asking him to guard a player like that is unfair to a guy of Parker's stature, but he held his own, boxing out and forcing Behanon into some jump shots (that he missed) as opposed to easy lay-ins or dunks. Job well done, Mr. Parker.

Yes he did a very good job. That said how much would Behanon had helped this team this year? He's a nice young player.

It is LaSalle High's fault he is not a Bearcat. His mom wanted him out of Aiken High School. She went to LaSalle and told them if they waived tuition for Chane he would come to LaSalle. They told her no so she moved the family to Bowling Green.

This year and more so next. I saw him play as a sophomore in HS and liked what I saw, but seeing him last night truly shows he has has the tools to be a great pf in the Big East. We missed out on a good one with him, hopefully getting back to success will help us land the next Behanon that comes along.

Good for LaSalle, if this is actually true. They should not give a kid special treatment because he is a good basketball player.
