I found it laughable that a team we beat by 20 is three votes behind us. I find the rankings and polls a huge joke anymore.

Teams can get better. Your not one of those "we beat the number 1 team in the country, therefor we should be ranked number 1, or at least above them" type of people are you?

I do think the rankings are a joke though. MSU/UNC come to mind and really any other "big name" school. It takes a lot more for them to fall out of the rankings than other teams.

No I think all games played should matter, not just who you beat in a single night! Rivals doesn't even have UC in the tournament in their current projections while Xavier is a 7 seed that plays in a down year in a mediocre league. How does this happen? Just watch the media and polls. A team can have a good week and that will carry them for the next 2-3 regardless of what they do. If you're a traditional power you're gold all season.

They did beat Richmond by a lot today- Richmond beat Purdue at purdue. They also beat Temple who Beat Georgetown and lost by 3 i believe to Nova....everyone else in the A-10 does suck. two of those three teams will probably be in the NCAA tournament though. Outside chance at all 3 depending on who wins the A-10. (it would have to be richmond. I think Temple and X are in if they beat the teams they should)

We are the #1 defensive team in the BE, statistically speaking. The A10 doesn't have anything close to our defense, and I would bet $ that the bottom 4-5 teams in the BE would be highly competitive, if not win the A10.

Sorry folks. Eggsavier didn't become great overnight. They're a solid team that we absolutely crushed, then they go into the A10 where they have more talent than most teams and walk the dogs.

The A10 is far less impressive than the old CUSA......and we owned the old CUSA.

We are the #1 defensive team in the BE, statistically speaking. The A10 doesn't have anything close to our defense, and I would bet $ that the bottom 4-5 teams in the BE would be highly competitive, if not win the A10.

Take the blinders off. St Johns is 4-5 in the Big East. They lost to St Bons and Fordham, who have a combined 3 wins in the A10, the 13th and 9th teams in the A10. I think Seton hall is 1-4 against the A10. Providence lost to lasalle by double digits.

I know the Big East is by far the best conference, but to say the bottom of the Big East would win the A10 is ignorant, especially when the bottom of the Big East has done pretty poorly against the A10.

Yeah to say the bottom of the Big EAst could win the A-10 is dumb considering St. Johns play against them. Fordham and St. bonnies are awful in the A-10 and St. Johns is 11th in the big east. You simply dont lose to those two teams if you arent garbage. Maaaybbe you overlook on of them and slip up. both? garbage. If you couldnt beat those two teams how do you think they would come close to winning the A-10 (keep in mind this is the 11th team in the Big East and you said the bottom 4-5 could compete for the A-10 title if not win it. St Johns aint comin close)
