Let's say you're the GM of the Dolphins, and you're asking Dez Bryant questions to see if he's a good fit for the team. Here are some of the things NOT to ask him.
1) "Do you eat a lot of Ethnic foods like.........?"
That's not good. It doesn't matter if he likes pizza, chicken, ribs, watermelon, hot dogs, or fondue. That might look like you stereotype.
2) "Do you watch a lot of porn?
First of all, it's not relevant. Second...do you really think he's going to be honest? Actually, if he did say yes, what would that mean? Also, you might look kind of squirrly for even asking it.
3) "Has your mom ever been a prostitute?"
Oops. Too late. Shoulda read this thread first.
Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland has apologized to former Oklahoma State receiver Dez Bryant for asking whether his mother was ever a prostitute.
The apology Wednesday came after Yahoo! Sports reported that Ireland posed the question during a pre-draft interview with Bryant.
"My job is to find out as much information as possible about a player that I'm considering drafting," Ireland said in a statement. "Sometimes that leads to asking in-depth questions. Having said that, I talked to Dez Bryant and told him I used poor judgment in one of the questions I asked him. I certainly meant no disrespect and apologized to him.
