Saw an article in this weeks Sportology report questioning the possibility of an "all white" starting nine this coming season for the Cincinnati Reds. "Cincinnati Reds: In 2012, the Reds will renew their commitment to mediocrity. Johnny Cueto and Matt Latos will form a nice combo at the top of the rotation, but the rest of the pitching staff will be average at best. At some point in 2012, the Reds will field an all-white starting nine. When’s the last time that happened? Tried to do some research, but amazingly, Elias Sports Bureau doesn’t keep track of racial stats. Also, the Reds will have at least one bench-clearing incident with both St. Louis and Milwaukee". First, I am assuming Brandon Philips is not on our team anymore? Was a complete sham of an article. Funny thing is how no one questions the fact that Cronin has not had a single white, american player on scholarship since day 1. Very interesting how no one questions that.
