Looking at the top 25.....

Ohio State has 1 loss, but to Duke, I think.
Creighton suffered a bad loss to Boise State this week.
Louisville lost to Duke.

I don't really seeing us moving up except for maybe Creighton.
And it will be interesting to see how far UK falls this week.

I've always been curious to know how the RPI looks when all teams are 0-0. In theory all teams are tied for one and thus when you go 1-0 all teams have the same SOS and half the teams will be tied for 1 and the other half tied for 175 or whatever half the number of teams are but the SOS is still all tied. Then it will change based on if the team you play 2nd won or lost their fist game and so forth. Something tells me this is not true though, I'm guessing the poll at the beginning not only has a ranking but also has a SOS ranking.

I was looking at this too. We could conceivably move past 5 teams or perhaps only 1. Creighton, KY, UNC, Mich St, and OK ST. OK ST is a given...but the rest should be close calls. There is no team that should jump us from behind either. By the end of OOC if we are still undefeated we could easily be top 10 but right now (until we see more) I think we are ranked about right around the top 15. Even if we lose one OOC game (knock on wood) I think we should be around top 15.

In all honesty I dont even know if Kentucky will be in the top 25 after losing to Notre Dame and Baylor this week, they will probably like 24th or 25rh, we definitely move past them and OK State, Mich State may be harder to pass, considering they do have a nice win over Kansas already this year, I dont think the loss to Indiana hurts North Carolina that much, the fact that creighton lost at home I think will move them 1 or 2 spots behind us. I see it like this.......

10. Gonzaga
11. Mizzou
12. North Carolina
13. Cincinnati
14. Mich St
15. Creigton
16. OK State
17. Illinoise

and for those of you who are wondering, New Mexico who we play later will bump up after not losing this weekend, with a lot of people losing this weekend. I'd say around 21?
