I just thought I'd share a Yahoo! Sports article from today about Notre Dame Prep, Sean Kilpatrick's alma mater. The school is being investigated by the NCAA and it may be worth keeping an eye on. They've already ruled X's Myles Davis and Maryland's Sam Cassell Jr. ineligible for the upcoming season, but the article posits the idea that any infractions could affect Notre Dame Prep graduates who currently play Division I basketball.

"They seemed to be focused on academic issues at Notre Dame Prep, but they asked about a number of other issues as well, how tuition payments worked, visits by assistant coaches from certain schools, the behavior of specific players and general life within the program,"

These 2 statements are telling to me. It seems it may not be institutional but different programs and players.

Didn't Kilpatrick graduate high school before attending prep school? Did he go there to get eligible or would he have been already eligible coming out of high school? And I could be wrong, but the NCAA already cleared him to be academically eligible, this is probably more to discredit the school for future purposes. Hopefully we are fine here unless they find some improper benefits.

looking at the list, i cannot help but wonder how good our team would be if UC would have landed Behanan...anyways, UC handled him and UL last year, and the Cats will do it again
