ESPNU

SMU is #69 on Torvik. We're projected to lose 76-70.

Their strength is interior defense, and their weakness is defensive rebounding.

5-11 junior guard Kendric Davis has been the star so far on offense.

Nice starting lineup change. Davenport in, Vogt out (Eason at the 5).

Vogt came in very quickly (at 18 minutes), immediately gets beat twice in a row to give SMU two easy buckets. He did at least grab an offensive rebound though.

Vogt leaves after SMU goes on a 10-3 run with him in. We immediately force two turnovers with the press after Vogt leaves the game.

Vogt is simply horrible this game. SMU is too athletic for him to have a chance.

Eason needs to learn to try to do less on offense. Just dunk it and shoot open shots.

Diarra commits some silly fouls, but he is way better than Vogt.

Mason looks good so far, how long before he can be our starting PG? Saunders has been terrible in the backup PG role and DeJulius only has so much value when he can't shoot.

Right now, everyone is better than Vogt. But if your wondering why he doesn’t play consistently, that’s it

Going into half and as usual there is a lot to be unhappy about and some bright spots.

Way too many TO's, many unforced. Just need to be smarter with the ball.

Vogt played for ~5 minutes and we were -9 with him in. Brannen is starting to realize Vogt shouldn't play, but needs to get the message faster.

Eason needs to learn to play like Gary did as a freshman. Defend, rebound and dunk. Eason tries to do too much, but the potential is there.

The smaller combinations looked pretty good generally. Well honestly, pretty much any lineup that did not have Saunders and/or Vogt in the game did pretty well.

Not sure how to fix Keith, he seems to have lost the confidence mentally. He has been playing pretty good on D though.

Harvey showed some flashes of brilliance. It's seeming like Harvey may eventually become the go to scorer that we need.

Mason should get more minutes. Hard to read to much into his ~4 minutes of play, but he seemed to do everything right.

When Harvey drives to the basket , good things happen.... this team is bad but they are young, you can see the potential in some, but good god we can’t shoot at all
