SCOUTING THE RED STORM
-On Wednesday St. John's lost to Louisville, 88-63. The Red Storm had a season-high 25 turnovers, more than double their season average. Paris Horne led the Red Storm with 13 points and Malik Stith added 12.

-St. John's defeated Notre Dame on Jan. 16, 72-54. The victory marked the Red Storm's second win over a top 25 team this season, the first time they've beaten two ranked teams in one year since the 2005-06 season.

-The last time St. John's won three games vs. ranked opponents in a one year was the 2001-02 season. ff St. John's is in the midst of an eight-game stretch against top 25 opponents. It is currenly 2-3 during that strech.

-St. John's has nine four-year seniors on its roster and one fifth-year senior. ff St. John's is 6-5 all-time against Cincinnati and is 3-3 in BIG EAST games against the Bearcats. The Red Storm beat UC 52-20 on Jan. 13, 2010 at Madison Square Garden.

One bright spot, how about Biggie, a couple boards, a block and a couple shots re-directed.

Who is the idiot that wanted Bishop to play less? UC is somehow up 2 with less than 2 to go in the half after 5 points in about 30 seconds from Bishop.

Who would have thought that Biggie was #UC's secret weapon?

10 pts and 10 boards from your bigs in the first half, oh 2 blocks and 5 of 6 from the field.

Who would have thought those bigs are JJ and Biggie. Biggie knocking down the 15 footer as the shot clock expires too. Biggie is a lot of the reason we are in this game, allowing Yancy to sit with 2 fouls. Know Mick needs to show me something and change up the 2nd half starting lineup, not just the starters.

Oh and don't forget the assist from Biggie to end the half, that play look familiar?

This game started out poorly, but they have come back and a 6pt lead at half is great.
