Do you own an iPhone, BlackBerry, Android or Nokia phone and wish you could surf BearcatTalk.com without worrying about the forum scrolling all over the place? Well, now you can with the help of Tapatalk. We've installed and activated the TapaTalk plug-in here on the forums and tested it out ourselves... it's sweet!

What you'll need to do is download the appropriate app for your supported mobile device. Once you've download the app, launch it and search for BearcatTalk.com in the Tapatalk directory -- it's quick and easy. There is a nominal fee for the iPhone app if you wish to be able to post (the read-only app is free) but I'm told the app on Android is totally free. Check it out and let us know what you think!

What is Tapatalk?

Tapatalk is a forum app for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia. The app provides super fast forum access to any vBulletin, IPBoard, phpBB and SMF forums that have activated Tapatalk. Forum owner can download the free plug-in to activate Tapatalk in your forum.

I purchased it for $2.99.(that's rep worthy:D;) ) It is very easy to navigate, much easier to read than going through safari on my ipod.

It was also very easy to find the site, you simply start to type the letters in the search bar and it came up immediately.

One BIG problem is you can not post anything :confused:. I had to jump on my computer to post this. I feel that is a major draw back

I would not recommend it simply because you can not post on it :(
if they can figure that out it would be a big thumbs up

You can only post with the paid version.
 
I've got an iPhone. I use Tapatalk on another forum (unrelated to UC)

Do I have to pay another $2.99 for this forum or do I just find the link on Tapatalk?

Nope, you just pay $2.99 for the app and then you can surf any forum that has enabled it for their site. I check quite a few forums from my iPod Touch while sitting on the couch.
 
There's also another app that I use on another forum. Tapatalk is ok, but it tends to crash.

Maybe the admin can look at Forum Runner, especially good for future reference, since vBulletin isn't going to have much support in the future. If the forum software is changed to the new XenForo forum software, it's a great value. Features include an automatic update feature (similar to Facebook drag down style).

Just a suggestion. :cool:
