It all depends on how MSU shoots against the zone. If they shoot well they win convincingly. If not, Syracuse will have a chance.

Going to say MSU by 6-8. This would be a nice non conf win for the conference if Syracuse can pull the upset. By the way, 7 BEast teams in the AP top 25. UC received 6 votes.

Gentlemen... as this game is being played in New York for the Headliner of the Jimmy V. classic I will assume it's being played at MSG... Syracuse will play well and benefit from this. Even if the fan support is about even I see the Orange keeping it close until late. From that point on, it's anybodies game.

Why do I ever doubt The Big East?? Damn! Another sick year.
No doubt in my mind that 10 Beast teams are tournament worthy but they won't get that many because they beat each other up too much.

Very good win for the BEast. Thought the Spartans would win a close game against a young Orange team. Glad I was wrong. Especially since St. Johns lost to an A10 team.

Jackson has been playing very well this year. And from what I saw last night, he's legit.
As far as MSU, I haven't been overly impressed with them but as the announcers said last night, echoing the sentiments that were relayed to them by Izzo himself, that team is tired. They've had one hell of a gauntlet to run early on in both the competition and the travel. They will be very good come March. They need to get completely healthy too.

and concerning the above post i am not saying jackson is a poor player he is actually a beast but they continually allowed him to get dunks something that shouldnt happen.
