#34 in the RPI, one of the last teams in the NCAA's and will be out for revenge after the 31 point beatdown...more importantly their last home game against an NCAA tournament team. Temple has all the incentive to win this one, oh and they are also 8-3 in the league so we could get the tiebreaker over them by winning. Huge game for both squads but Temple will be in desperate mode!

Big big game but honestly it is just the next big big game. They all are if they want to win the league.

UC vs. Temple. SMU @ Houston. Tulsa @ UConn. Can't see SMU losing but I can see UConn beating Tulsa and a win over Temple bringing the Bearcats to within one game of first place.

Yes sir. For that reason alone that is why this Temple game is a must win for us to have a chance at a ship. We will surely need Clark on the floor.

Tulsa is going to have to hang on for dear life. They've had some close calls lately. And now that their schedule gets tough, I'm hoping they fall apart down the stretch. Having the tiebreaker over SMU is big, but we can't fall 2 games behind them in the loss column or we're finished.
We definitely need Clark, but I'm calling a monster Caupain game. He had his 8 pt 9 ast 1 TO (maybe it was 9 pt 8 ast) game at Temple last year. And he was really good against them earlier this year with 9 pts 7 ast 0 TO.

Obviously I want to win conference, but I'm rooting against Tulsa in every game simply because we play them once and these other guys twice.

It will not surprise me if 3-4 losses win this league with all the big dogs playing down the stretch. It'll likely come down to who can avoid an upset.

Temple is bound to be pissed off after that butt whoopin we put on them last time.

I think that was the game Sanders got put in the starting lineup and really turned his season around. Lets keep it rolling.

Bearcats seem to rise to the big moment and shrink in the smaller ones. This is a big moment and I think UC matches up will with Temple. Good guys by 5.

I'd be surprised if we won this game. If Clark isn't 100% id say it's extremely unlikely we win, quadri isn't very good yet and shaq doesn't know the 4 too well yet and he's undersized there.

Temple was missing there best player last time and we were absolutely on fire last time we played them. We really haven't looked good since the uconn game. Our kids have to be exhausted I'm a realist not an optimist.

Temple beat Memphis 20-12 at the ft line or the Tigers would have won. No way or lets hope not that we shoot that bad. Nebraska game comes to mind. Good guys by 7.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that Shaq will have a double figure scoring game. Clark may be out, or limited. The last 3 times we have played Temple we have scored 80, 69, and 84. We all know Shaq plays better in that open court style and we've shown we can beat them at that game. Plus, like people have said...We are tired. But Shaq shouldn't be. He hasn't played huge minutes in conference play. I think the game will be a PK.

My guess is Clark was plays based on both my professional and personnel experience with his type of injury assuming there is no structural damage. If he does not have a lot of swelling his biggest challenge may be mental. Having a patella sublex can be a frightening experience (assuming that is what occured). Like I said earlier hopefully this does not chronically reoccur as that would require major surgery and my past experience with the UC team orthodopod would suggest this is not an area where he excels at all.

Huge game! A win keeps us in the hunt for a nice seed in Conference Championship and the regular season crown. The Owls will be highly motivated after the thumping we gave them at our place. Cats need to close out regular season on a big win streak.

I had this game penciled in as a loss long ago - actually thought Temple would be UC's biggest challenge to a conference championship - then came the 2nd half blowout. I do think, however, that was an anomaly because of Will Cummings being out. He's huge in their game - 2/1 assist/TO ratio, 12-14 pts./game, couple of steals etc. Even without him, they played even the first half at UC.
This game concerns me....Cummings is back, Temple is in revenge mode, it's at their place - it's a must win for either team to have a shot at the conference.
I don't feel good about the game...Cats are hard to figure on the road - they are equally capable of an SMU, NC State kind of performance as they are an @UConn, Memphis or E. Carolina.

Going by stats/kenpom, it looks like Temple's game is pretty similar to UC's. Primary focus is defense. They're 8th in the nation in defensive efficiency (88.8 points given up per 100 plays). That said, though, their offense is relatively abysmal. As a team, they shoot .380, good for 342nd in the country. Kenpom has them at 220th in adjusted offense as well. Would be shocked if either team scored in the 60s and beyond.

UC will be beat Temple by 6-8 points. They will beat Tulane by 8-12 and then beat X whether they are ranked or not.
