No. 10: Armon Binns, WR, Cincinnati, Sr.
2009 numbers: Caught 61 passes for 888 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Making the case for Binns: There was no more controversial omission from my postseason Top 30 list than Binns. Well, here's the makeup call.
Binns had a remarkable breakout season in 2009, especially when you consider that he had only two career catches coming into the year. He was at times the Bearcats' go-to guy in the passing game as defenses paid extra attention to Mardy Gilyard, and Binns was particularly dangerous in the red zone. His lanky, 6-foot-4 frame made him a favorite target for both Tony Pike and Zach Collaros, and all of his touchdown catches came in the final nine games.
And of course, Binns made the biggest grab of the Big East season when he hauled in Pike's 29-yard game-winning touchdown throw to beat Pittsburgh. With Gilyard moving onto the pros, Binns should be even more of a threat this year, and he and Collaros share a strong chemistry. There's little doubt that Binns belongs in the preseason discussion of the Big East's best players.
