The Bleak (yet possible) Road to a Double Bye

UC:
Must win Wednesday at home against Marquette AND Saturday at Villanova

USF:
Must lose Wednesday at Louisville AND Saturday at home against WV

Gtown:
Must lose tonight at home against Notre Dame OR lose Saturday at Marquette


I doubt this will work out but with two games to play, we still have a shot at finishing 4th in the league and it will be exciting to root for.

(Worst case scenario we finish 7th for those that don't know)

It could work out (I think) where USF would get the double bye at #4 and UC would be #5. I would actually be ok with this since, as a 5-seed you would play either the 12 or 13 seed on Wednesday then USF on Thursday. IMO, that would be a chance for 2 wins and then a possible semifinal with Syracuse.

for selfish reasons I'd like UC to get a 3,6 or 7 seed so they can play in the night games.
