We get to go play the #7 team on the road so maybe that will help ha. Very tough but this team seems very focused. We can beat Nova but need our A game.
The game after the shootout is usually brutal but...

I think we match up well. Can't turn the ball over against Villanova. Have to stop penetration.

Ya but didnt Xavier win the last 3 shootouts too... This team can and will be competitive all year and i think for once they have gotten over the hump.. Being able not to have to rely on just 2 players for scoring is starting to become the best part about this team.. Heck i dont think SK really even scored last night and he is our 3rd leading scorer.. These Cats are really, really good and they have a very good shot at beating Villanova at home. My Question is to DONT MISS HIM, Have some balls dude and come on here and give respect where it is deserved...

False on all accounts. You beat X and its a good ass couple days until the next game.
I recall losing a tough game to X last year then getting pounded by UAB.
I think this team is different, yes it would be very easy to lay an egg in Philly this weekend after an emotional game like last night, but these guys have proven all year they are different than past teams. I think we match up well with Nova, and if you think about it, Nova runs a lot of the same game style and plays that X runs so in a way playing X prepared us for Nova. Should be a great game Sunday.
