Way to jump to conclusions Jason. Cincinnati asked to reschedule this game when TCU was supposed to enter the Big East, and even though TCU decided not to join the conference, they went ahead and still finalized moving the game.

I hate OSU as much as the next guy, but this time it isn't their fault.

I myself wonder why they do not meet aside from the TCU issue

As an avid Buckeye football supporter, I would love to see the Bucks and Cats matchup.

My understanding in the PAST was the money issue. Cinci wanted to do the home and away. Ohio State's non conference schedule usually includes one big home and away, (Texas, The U, USC, Va Tech). Outside of that Ohio State usually schedules a Mac school or similar because those schools are just looking for TV time and will come play at The Horseshoe.

Not sure if that is how it is today.

I admit it. I jumped early before all the facts were out. That is my bad. I heard that UC did ask to move it because of scheduling concerns. Smells to me like UC knows what is going down with the expansion and there may be an additional league game (or 2) next year. Sorry folks and thanks for keeping me honest.

OSU has been ducking UC in bball for 20 years. Playing once, when we were starting Conner Barwin.

Why we don't play OSU every year in bball is insane to me.

20 years? It is more like 50 years, ever since the 61 and 62 Bearcats took down the evil empire in the national championship game.

I understand why OSU wouldn't want to play UC. Its a lose lose, IMO. I respect them if they play UC but don't fault them for not.

This reminds me of when the MSJ Lions would dominate their conference each year.

They were the greatest thing in the world until they met the Machine, Mount Union, in the playoffs. After a quarter of play they fell off their high horse and sunk back to reality. By games end they were pounded into oblivion.
