This guy is dumb-recruiting is a two-way street-if kids can decommit when a new coach comes in, coaches should be able to drop players. But the media, as usual, makes it look like the "poor players." Guess what-get mad at the system and not individuals. Coaches shouldn't be able to leave until after bowl games.

What's funny is that with the exception of Bret Bielema, TT is far and away the best coach on this list. We're talking about a guy who is a easily one of the top 20 coaches in the game today. TT is not too far removed from having an undefeated season in the SEC and has put a ton of talent into the NFL over the last 10 years. If you look back at TT's Auburn years the number of players that have played or are still playing in the NFL is staggering. TT is going to put the most talented group of players UC has ever seen on the field. I have no clue if the guy stays long term or not but he will do what he was hired to do. He will help legitimize our program in the court of public opinion and greatly increase the talent base that we recruit to our program. Hopefully this will set us up to get into a conference when the time comes.

I wouldn't get too fired up about the article. It seems like lazy journalism as it relates to Tubberville. The way he left TT and the recruiting "incidents" are pretty suspect. It's a good hire if you think the program is better of with him than Jones. I happen to be of that belief. He's a good recruiter and talent developer as you point out and he's won in the toughest league there is.
