They played Tulsa down to the wire and hit 12 3's last night.


Tulane and SMU were also tied at half until SMU pulled away late.

They play really hard, and crazy enough, they out rebounded SMU who out rebounded us by 10.

I think Tulane will give us a run for a our money for at least 25 minutes but ultimately we pull away In the last 10 minutes.

Just need the guys to not look past them.

A bit scary yes. But we have until next Thursday for Eggs. I hope we use this as a motivational tool to take care of the last remaining business before that game. We will have 5 days to prepare for Eggs after this game.

Dear god. Tulane's most recent home game, against a good SMU team, had an attendance of 1,323. THIRTEEN HUNDRED PEOPLE. RallyCats is sending 110 students down; that'll be like 10% of the attendance right there.

We should win this handily. That's all the analysis I'm going to make.

I remember Tulane played really physical in the first half against us a few weeks ago. We just need to play with a sense of urgency and come out strong. I think having our Rallycats crew there will help. They were awesome last time they went there.

I heard the UC team is going to watch SK play on Friday as the Nets are playing the Pelicans. Pretty cool support.

tulsa led a good deal of the way by double digits, and 5 of those 3s were in the last 2:30 of desperation time.

Judging by the press conference after the Temple game, it sounds like he tries to get his guys ready for any opponent. He hyped up Tulane a little bit, which is kind of funny to me, but you've got to do that to your players, so they don't walk in and expect an easy W. Ever.

I'm hoping we continue the inside out and get Clark and Washington going. They combined for like 13 points in the last game against Tulane even though we scored a lot of points as a team. I think we can match our 2 point % from the last time but probably not the 3%.

I'm surprised no one has voted for the blowout.

Washington will be unstoppable. It will open up worlds of possibilities. Evans just going out and getting shots up from wherever he has an opening is key too imo. He wasn't on fire in the Temple game but he looked like his "slump" wasn't bothering him. He just needs to keep getting shots up. He's going to take and make so many shots in his career that it seems kind of silly to worry about a couple game stretch of pressing a bit and having the shots not fall. Going back to Louisiana, seeing SK in an NBA game, I think Evans blows up tomorrow and has a huge game.
