The Green Wave (4-6, 1-0 AAC, NET #192, KP #152) are in year #3 with head coach Ron Hunter and are looking to claim their first winning season since 12/13.

They had a pretty poor OOC run which included home-and-away losses to College of Charleston, but started AAC play with an impressive 85-84 win over a shorthanded Memphis team in New Orleans.

They don't boast much size and consequently are one of the worst rebounding teams in the country (#342 in rebounding margin).

They do shoot the 3 ball well (36.5%) and are led by 6'0 LSU transfer Jalen Cook and 6'5 All-AAC 3rd team returnee Jaylen Forbes. The duo combine for 35 points/game and collectively shoot the 3 at nearly a 41% clip.

The Bearcats are 9.5 point favorites.

Need something to take my mind off yesterday so this game is well placed for that.

This BB team needs a wake up game and come to life again. Let’s start 1-0 in AAC rather than the expected 0-1 against Houston

10-5 Tulane, 10 straight for the Green Wave. Our offense continues to struggle without Dejulius in the game and the lack of shooting is all too apparent. D has to create offense or this will be tight throughout.

Wes Miller is a joke. Can’t coach, motivate, or adjust. He is a bust.

I'm willing to give him a bit longer before making that judgment but I'm really starting to question his reasons for putting this exact group of players together as a team.

And continuing to play to many rotations. And having no real offense other than jacking threes. We are unmotivated on d have give wide open looks on every possession.

Do we practice offense at all? We don't run anything. Tulane is making a bunch of tough threes, but as usual our offense is nonexistent and we aren't even trying to use our height advantage.

Same thing every game. Pass around the perimeter and jack a 3 with no rebounding. He has been studying Cronins offense.

That was one of the most depressing halves I've ever witnessed given the opponent and the circumstances.

I'm seriously starting to doubt the long term prospects of this program.

With the atheletes we have there is zero excuse for how Tulane put up 48 points. We are so lazy and unmotivated. Offense scheme sucks but has all year… but we can’t even control our effort on D. Miller is not the answer.

The defense was fine. Tulane couldn't score in the second half when the tough threes weren't falling. They had 63 before final minute garbage time. We only had 56. We have to be able to score 70 against a team like Tulane at home.

Luke Fickle was 4-12 his first year. I an not bailing on Miller. Cats fought back nobly against a good Tulane team. We already have double digit wins this season so all is not lost.

UC allowed 48 points in the first half. That should never happen. While the defense was better after halftime, the game was lost before halftime.
