The Golden Hurricanes (7-15, 1-10 AAC, NET #188, KenPom #172) have lost 5 of 6 games since they played the Bearcats at Fifth Third, but have competed well in their last 3 home games where they've lost to Memphis by 2, defeated USF by 31, then lost to ECU by 2.

Tulsa has lost 7 home games so far this season but no defeat has come by more than 5 points (most notably a 2-point loss to Houston 5 days before they first played UC).

Just over 3 weeks ago, we beat Tulsa by 21 on a season-best 90 points and a ridiculous 55% (16/29) shooting for downtown.

The Bearcats are 2.5 point favorites tonight.

The first game against Tulsa was similar to our last game at USF. We made up for a ton of turnovers with hot shooting. Hopefully we can take care of the ball tonight.

Yes we can probably win if we don’t shoot well but take care of the ball and vice versa but not both. I would rather be a lot less careless though if I had to choose. If MAW keeps throwing the ball away as much as he has lately Mike could catch him in assist to turnover ratio by end of season. Mika was around 5:1 not too long ago and Mike was probably around 2:1. Mika is closer to 3:1 now

Bad defense, bad offense thus far. Getting beat on backdoor cuts and giving them easy layups. The usual lack of ball movement and jacking up bad threes on the other end.

I don't know why we're running so many two big lineups out there against this team. Their quickness is killing us.

MAW has been terrible over the last couple weeks. If he's committing turnovers he doesn't have much value.

It’s so terrible how bad we are… all 3s, no post play, terrible defense, overall bad. Coaching is still terrible, no adjustment. Wes leaves a lot to be desired. Lost to Tulsa who is 7-15… lol

That ends any NCAA hopes we had. Going forward I want to see a lot more of the young guys.

This is a team full of one dimensional players with a coach who is a poor strategist. We need a complete overhaul.

Who has eligibility and who doesn’t, im not sure given covid.

Koval and Ado are done. That's it. Banks will go back to walk on status. DDJ and Newman have a choice to make and Newman has seemingly already made it. Nobody seems to ever know what DDJ will do. I think everyone else has at least 2 years left with the Covid rule.

So the three we have coming in take the three you mentioned. No room for a transfer unless one or more of our guys leave. Got it… I think a few should go.
