The big news is that the local games will NOT be assured of being on local 12.

Hopefully UC will not be on TruTV. Neither TW Cable nor DirecTV offer that station in HD.

DirecTV has added TruTV in HD for the tournament. It is normally channel 246 and now they have added 246-1 as well for HD. Just saw it today.

That's the best news I've had today. We always have a party at the house with 4 tv's going. I put one on antenna and have 3 directv receivers.

DirecTV and Turner Sports finalized a deal yesterday that will allow truTV’s NCAA men’s basketball tournament games to air in HD.

Time Warner Cable and Comcast had previously signed deals with truTV HD and DirectTV was the biggest distributor that didn’t have a carriage deal in place.

And to the 19 million DirecTV subscribers that are waiting for Operation Repo to air in HD, they are committed to the launch of truTV HD later this year.
