By the way...UC basketball media coverage is fairly abysmal. Would it kill Bill Koch to give a recruiting update now and again (beyond when people sign)...or have an article that JDIII and Sanders are looking good in the summer league?
Or maybe a Q&A with Mick Cronin or a preliminary outlook on the lineup and who has a chance to really step up. What's up with so few articles in the offseason? I think bearcatjeff should take his job.

Is there anywhere else other than this message board, GoBearcats, cincinnati.com and espn.com that I should be getting my Bearcats news?

Koch is one of the absolute worst, the local UC coverage is a joke, pretty much always has been.

I feel like Xavier Basketball gets more talk in the newspaper and media than UC does. Thats because their writer for the Enquirer actually does her job. Wish we could get someone better than Koch to talk UC basketball.

Internet message boards are the only place to glean information about UC athletics. If all you are relying on is the Enquirer, the local news and radio and gobearcats.com you are truly starved for information.

Exactly. This new Shannon Russell lady provides pretty good coverage for Xavier in the offseason. Koch treats it like his offseason. I might get it if it was because football was more relevant but he barely writes anything there either.

Pretty frustrating when tons of people would love his job.

Koch continues to be horrible. This "story" might as well say "Gates didn't get drafted" and leave it at that. How about what his options are now? What's the process?
