UC on tonite (2009 Pitt game)

I was at the Pitt game at UC 2 years ago. That was pretty cool as well.

And one of the coldest games I have been to! I felt warm as hell at the end though!

A) you missed the Forth Worth Bowl against Marshall. 20 degrees with a 20 below wind chiil, iced over seats and your ass froze to them unless you were sitting on a box. I had 4 layers on. In Texas.

B) Eww it's BK

Hey...just because UC is on tonite (and Ido), doesn't mean you can abandon Bearattalk.

Turn those machines back on!!

Anyone else watching this game disgusted by the amount of " Cincinnati committed to Kelly" gear in the stands?

Did you burn it? Ha. Watched the game again. All time classic. One of the best games I've ever been to in my life.

I recorded it (again). HD games take up so much space, I have to delete stuff later on.

Yes, I think it is fair to say that I missed that one. It probably didn't help that our seats for the game at Pitt were 2 rows from the top. We were under the overhang so we didn't get snowed on. We had that going for us, which was nice.

I only have 2 issues with how the television broadcast was produced:
  1. Would have liked to see less BK on the sidelines (preferably none)
  2. Would have liked to see more Pitt fans and players crying.

Great to see that game again. Much better TV than what Harang was putting out last night. It disgusted me, too, to see Kelly and hear all the talk. I just want to move on. I got to admit I was getting excited even though I knew what was going to happen. I loved seeing Mardy again, I'm really going to miss him. Wish I could've gone to that game.

The only other game in my mind that comes close, in excitement at least, was a game years ago at Nippert playing TCU when we were down 16 late and scored twice with two 2-point conversion to go to OT. We scored a TD and then picked off a pass in the end zone to win it. Very exciting to be there and see it. (All 500 of us that stuck around really enjoyed it.) Obviously the stakes weren't anywhere near what the UC-Pitt game held and the team was no-where near as dynamic, but still a great comeback to witness.
