Not that it comes as a surprise... I hope against hope they don't make a hasty decision to try and make the fans happy and do what was mentioned and add a 'few seats' and other minor renovations... I say ride it out, play at Nippert and wait... if it takes five more years, it takes five more years... it will be well worth it... and for all that is holy, don't move the games to PBS unless it becomes an absolute necessity.

1 game a year at PBS to get some big opponets. Everything else is at nippert.

Only problem (and for the record that's how I'd like it to be, just like the schedule is set up this year with Oklahoma) I foresee with that is, what happens if the program continues to grow and succeed and the season ticket requests overflow the space Nippert can provide, significantly? I don't think it's a far fetched thought at all.

Point blank: Unless we sell out we're going to lose money on PBS games in a dept that is actually losing money as a whole. Stick to Nippert. When we used to play big games at Riverfront, no one showed. At Nippert we have a student section and a "big" crowd. I'll be interested to see what the OU crowd looks like. I suspect we'll do better at Nippert financially.

In all due respect Lobot, there was an article in the Enquirer about a month ago which indicated UC was to make $250,000 more at PBS than at Nippert, based on an attendance of at least 45,000. I think if you look at UC's schedule for the next few years, you could easily host one or two games at PBS and draw that type of crowd:

2011: WVU, maybe UL if they improve under Strong
2012: Pitt
2013: Purdue, WVU
