Be interesting to see how UC plays tomorrow. After being embarrassed against GTown, do they come out flat, or on fire?

From a Syracuse Blog:

9 p.m. – No. 11 Cincinnati vs. No. 14 Rutgers – The Scarlet Knights also fail to play much defense, despite the presence of the Big East’s defensive player of the year in Hamady Ndiaye. Rutgers, too, has trouble scoring. Rochester’s Dane Miller has been a nice addition for the Scarlet Knights, but Cincinnati’s Lance Stephenson has been better. Both players were unanimous selections to the all-rookie team. The Bearcats play tough defense and rebound, but they are horrendous at the free throw line and with all the bodies shifting in and out of the game, they rarely find offensive flow. Cincinnati won the only matchup between the teams this season.

You mean somebody else knows we have shifting bodies!

I think we win this game by 3-4 or 10+. It'll either be close or a blowout.

I'll be very, very disappointed with a loss.

Not sure why he got suspended.

41 all w/ 16 left in 2nd half. Parker is playing some serious minutes. DV just put up a horrible airball.

Right now UC is shooting 37 percent from the field, not being helped out by DV, Lance, or Thomas. Where is the leadership? Oh yeah, he's not playing.

12 min to go, shooting percentage down to 33 percent.

Somebody has to step up and get it done.

Watching UC at the end of the game is painful.

Note: Do NOT let freshmen pass in the ball for an out of bounds play. Don't dribble the ball for 10 seconds while being covered and expect the ref to not call 5 seconds.

Bad basketball. I don't blame most of this on Mick, but the play is dumbfounding.

Rutgers guy tries to draw a foul on a 3, doesn't get the call and the prayer shot goes in anyway to tie the game.

Stephenson takes the ball to the hole and forces the refs to call a foul with 1.8 left.

Whewwwwwww. Made the first, missed the second on purpose and the tv angle made the Rutgers buzzer beater look a lot closer to going in than it really was.

Survive and advance.

WOW.

3 pointer by Rosario to tie it w/ 10 seconds left. Bailed out by lance with a foul and a ft make. Should not have come to that, but UC fans will take the win.

On to Louisville.

Great call by Mick to tell him to miss. I also thought it was a great play call by mick getting the ball in bounds with 23 secs. left. Nice little play to get vaughn the ball. Survive and advance.
