Anyone know when these tickets go on sale? I know I am a bit premature on this, but looking online the cheapest ticket is $200 right now. Hoping to take my son and just looking to get ahead of the pack! Thanks

What is the date for the game next year? I am definitely trying to go, especially it being my senior year at UC!

Your chances are better if you are UCats member with season tickets. My last trip to C-bus, I got late UC tix and was surrounded by a bunch of O$U fans. I don't think that will happen again.

Thanks. I am current UCATS but did not renew my seats last year due to my 3 kids playing a 100 games a weekend. Might have to find a "sponsor" to get some tickets and sell them to me! :)

cpaw off topic but I saw on another site that realignment may be coming and you were involved in conversation. Anything new happening on that front.

I do not claim to be in the know by any means, just have conversations with people and some are well connected within UC. I heard about 4 months ago that we would be getting an invite but would not happen until after the BCS games. It appears some smoke is appearing but as we all know, that seems to happen all the time these days, but I only put stock in this from what I heard in the past and associate that with things I have heard recently.

Invite where exactly? If you don't mind me asking. Doesn't seem to make financial sense for any conference (unless a TV network is involved).

thanks for the info.

I have heard Big 12, that was the talk then and now. I know most people now are saying ACC, but that is not what I have heard. Once again, just relaying information and sharing with fellow fans, but these people I have talked to I can only imagine are in the know.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I see it being about 0.1% realistic. I was hearing similar things last year, and heard the same thing "wait until after bowl season." This will blow over as well...

Any movement would be good movement; always hope one of these rumors will turn out true.

Just learned the rumors circulating on twitter aren't based on anything more than a delusional UConn fan who has been banned from all their message boards. Another dumb rumor dispelled.

There are rumors going around high up UCATS at the belk bowl that within the next month that it will be ACC or big12 either one is fine with me but who knows if true but they are the strongest rumors I have heard since it started and there's a time table of 1 month so I'm hoping.

Bearcatboy back at it again, talking to all his "connections" that are "high up in UCats". Are these the same guys who told you about the Matt Kemp for Phillips deal?? Get a clue Bearcatboy.

What he is saying is something I heard earlier this week as well. However none of it is true, it is all about the "hope" which will keep big donors engaged in the program...

ACC seems to know they are the weakest P5 conference; thus signing the grant of rights. It would be smart for them to expand now while there are some desirable schools left, because they aren't going to be able to take schools from other conferences.

Big 12 is similarly weak, yet seemingly in denial about it. They would be wise to grab the last schools as well, but apparently have no intention to do so if it lowers there profits whatsoever.

When and if realignment comes it will be a surprise. Nobody saw the Pitt and Syracuse move to the ACC coming when it came and nobody saw the Maryland to the B1G move coming either. I'm sure many might have speculated that Rutgers made sense but I didn't hear anyone forecasting that move until it happened.

The point is you can try to look at it logically all you want and speculate all you want but nobody knows for sure. Once an offer is made it will become a news story, until then no one knows what's going to happen. Some guy in UCats is just as good of a source as my mailman who's a Duke fan.

UC doesn't control their own destiny here and if we get an invite it will be because the presidents of universities in another conference have decided that we can provide some sort of value to their conference.

We can speculate as to what that value is or why we feel we should be considered but anyone claiming to have sources or saying they've heard something from someone who's in the know should be ignored. Maybe some of those people are hearing things from people who are large donors but the information is worthless.

I hope we get into a conference just as bad as the next guy and believe that eventually we will. Anyone claiming to have any valid information at this point is either lying or relying on poor information.
