UC vs UCF thread

Tipoff is at 7. Shouldn't be delayed either, since the game prior to it starts at 3. UC opens as 12 point favorites per ESPN.

Need a strong start from the bearcats and send a message to the other teams. While sitting here typing this I am watching Louisville do to Rutgers what they did to Uconn over the weekend. Very impressive from the cards and I feel the bearcats need to match their intensity. They may not run away with the game but at least execute and minimize mistakes is what we need to the see from the bearcats. I predict UC wins this game handling and builds confidence for the rest of the weekend.

I want to see justin jackson play a good offensive game for both halfs. Now he has played great these past two games, but i have noticed he has dominated the first half scoring ten in the 1st against Memphis and 8 in the first against Rutgers but only ended up with 13 total pts against Memphis (3 in the 2nd) and 10 against Rutgers (2 in the second), grant those were two huge points. But if he can turn those great first halfs into 17-18 pts effort by scoring in the 2nd half that would really help sk. Would also love to see someone besides sk, jj, and tr have a big game like shaq, troy, lawrence to give them some confidence going forward

JrmyT really don't think scores of games matter at this point. We have played all these teams twice. We know what they do and they know what we do. If there is any confidence to be gained it is from how we played the opposition in regular season. The Cats know they are capable of playing with anybody in the tourney. The key is stay healthy and advance. Score doesn't matter.

I would like to see good offensive outputs from the role players, we'll need those guys to be confident for the rest of the stay in Memphis. Hopefully Lawrence will finally have a good scoring game!

I would like to see JL's shot fall but as long as he boards and plays D I'm fine. The two guys I'd like to jump start again are Guyn and Caupain. To win this tourney they are going to have to take care of the basketball. We can't TO the ball against Louisville and UCONN and win. Ultimately I think those two teams could be our next two opponents. Of course we have to win tonight.

Haha very funny, I am pretty confident that my initial post on this topic did not discus or mention any score. I know the bearcats game plan and totally agree with what they do against the opposing team. All I said was for the bearcats to play at a high intensity level like the cards, I'm sure we all agree they can play at the same level of the cards. I did state that the bearcats may not run away with this game cause they rarely have this season, but will win my a reasonable margin. I stress to be productive and minimize mistakes.
