UConn (12-10, 3-6 AAC, NET #73) enters their final AAC home game against the Cats as 1-point underdogs and will hope to build on a recent 16-point road victory @Tulsa with a performance worthy of finally breaking their 8-game losing streak to us.

Prior to their Thursday night win, the Huskies had loss 5 of their past 6 games, but two of those losses were in OT and the other 3 were on the road at Houston, Villanova, and Memphis and the average loss margin was less 5 points/game.

UConn is the best FT shooting team in the AAC (74.6%) and do the best job of chasing opponents off the 3-point line as AAC teams average only 13 3-point attempts/game (but shoot a decent 34% mark).

With one more regular season Q1 game on the schedule after today (@Houston), this game is as good of an opportunity as any for continuing to strengthen our NCAA tournament resume.

I think this will be one of the hardest games of the year. I think it’s sold out and they are playing their best basketball in years. Even if the record doesn’t show it. This is basically their whole season. If they lose, they will likely miss out on any postseason. If they win, they will gain even more confidence. Hopefully we win

Diarra needs to take 5 deep breaths before coming into the game and between all breaks.

Jarron is on pace for a to set a new career high in assists... before the end of the first half

UConn is gonna have multiple runs

We ain’t gonna run this team out of the gym

Our defense is bad in spurts
