Update on DerMarr Johnson

DerMarr Johnson played just one season in Cincinnati but he made the most of it, earning 2000 Conference USA Freshman of the Year honors. His professional career was sidetracked when Johnson got into a car accident and broke his neck, nearly becoming paralyzed. Miraculously he came back and is still playing. Today he’s in China with the Jiangsu Nangang Dragons averaging 20 points a game.

He actually played in the NBA for the nuggets for a few years after his crash.

Was the recruiting class that brought Dermarr and Kenny Satterfield to UC the best ever? I know we've had classes that turn out better but those two were highly recruited and left for the NBA after their Frosh and Soph seasons.

Yeah I am sure back in the FF days we had some big time recruits. Cant think of any....
