Blown coverage gives them an easy TD.
Well, Banschbach just got injured on a meaningless play when we should have been taking a knee. Tuberville is a coaching genius.

Because USF still had 2 timeouts, I will redact the harshness of my statement. I still think that once we got that last 1st down, we should have been taking a knee. I highly doubt USF was going to use the timeouts at that point. They did use one on the 4th down play, but once we got the 1st down, the game was over.
Wow, as much as I disliked the Evans package at QB, he was better than watching poor Munchie try to run an offense.
What? I thought he played a d@mn fine game.
Anybody know what the attendance was?

I thought the game went much better than expected. I was concerned that USF's great running game would take it's toll. But it was the Bearcat running game that did in USF. USF got what 54 total yards rushing. We gave up a couple second half TD's or the game would have been really lopsided. I was at a Sept 10th meeting with Tuberville, Bohn and the chairman of the board. Tuberville explains that he lets his coaches do the coaching and he oversees matters. Sometimes I think it's little too loose of an arrangement for me. He claims the assistants like his style and want to work with him for that reason. Kelly on the other hand had his hand in everything. Not sure which style is better. Finally, players get hurt all the time in football. We can't say what we would or should have done after the fact. He was probably trying to give the young man a chance to run the football and gain some experience. His injury is very unfortunate. I hope he recovers quickly. I was very encouraged by his play.
