So....it has been fairly quiet on here so how about we post anything we have seen about offseason progress.

It was great seeing that Bomar has added 20 pounds.

Was anybody else pumped up after reading Kelce's tweet several days back?

Jkelce
635 lbs on squat today, the Big East won't be ready for the Bearcats for yet another year. Maybe ill throw a Pitt DE through a window.

Also from twitter, found out that Craig Parmenter was in a car accident last night... Check Travis/Jason kelce's feeds for updates. Seems to be alright now, just got out of surgery apparently.

Kelce will hopefully continue to get more and more opportunities in the offense. Maybe not so much this season with all of the ridiculous offensive talent we have but certainly in 2011-2012 I would think. He absolutely bulldozed Rutgers defenders running the wildcat and you'd think with him being a fomer QB we could even throw out of that formation.

Believe we're talking about the older Kelce, on the OL... not his younger brother who plays TE...

Since it is a slow time right before preseason camp, I thought I would pass along this information that is new to me, though not completely surprising... was watching a video on the inaugural 1200 club meeting and caught the LB's coach mentioning as he was introducing Malik Bomar that he would be "One of our starting LB's"... if that's true, what does the starting trio of LB's look like, assuming J.K. is obviously a starter as well?

I caught that too from the 1200 club video. If Bomar is in fact a starter, I guess the third spot depends on whether Stewart is playing OLB or DE. I suppose if Stewart is at DE then the other LB is likely Robby Armstrong. Although from the LB article on gobearcats.com, it sounds like some of the linebackers will know multiple positions so it's hard to say. Maybe if Stewart is at DE, Bomar plays OLB and Robert Martin plays in the middle?

Don't forget JK might play Mike LB. He is going to know Mike and Will and the staff will get the best 3 LBs on the field.
