In one word.....respect.
Respect is one thing we didn't get after UC had a successful run through it's 12 game schedule. Being undefeated is great, but the ultimate goal is playing for the BCS championship. One concern was that the Bearcat fans wouldn't travel to past bowl games, shutting us out of better games in the past, but that was alleviated with strong ticket sales the past two years. Now, the next hurdle UC must overcome is WINNING against a 'superior' opponent. Florida may not be ranked higher, but they have the respect that UC does not. Kelly or no Kelly, UC needs to win in order for an undefeated season to actually mean something.
