We hung with the Shockers for 30 minutes in our first match-up before a poor 5 minute stretch saw us go down by 16 and the game became out-of-reach in the closing minutes.

After finding themselves down by 12 in the 2nd half to USF yesterday, Wichita held the Bulls to 2 points in the final 6 minutes of yesterday's quarterfinal match-up to escape by the skin of their teeth with a 1-point win.

If we play with the same poise that we did for the first 35 minutes of yesterday's game, there's no reason we can't win this game.

We are currently 4-point underdogs.

The first matchup was decided at the rim and the free throw line. WSU outscored us 40-28 at the rim and 23-16 at the stripe. They only attempted 12 threes, by far their lowest of the season. Davenport and MAW combined to go 0-8 from three, which Harvey offset with a 4-4 game.

We've been shooting the ball well over the last 5 games (even against Vandy, where our scoring problems were due to turnovers and rebounding). If that continues, we've got a good chance.

Their 3s keeping them in the game. Still don’t understand when Keith just stared at Dennis and dared him to shot. That was an interesting strategy considering Dennis mainly just shoots 3s.

Ha Ha. Eason has a good half. He was all over the place being disruptive on defense, grabbing rebounds and crashing the glass. Where is Dou though? I think he is on the bench in warm ups.
