The Bearcats won the AAC regular season title with a 15-1 conference record. They'll play VCU in the first round of the NCAA tournament this Friday at 4pm in Pittsburgh. If they win they may face #6 Pitt in a rematch of a game from August in which the Bearcats were swept.

The Bearcats lost the first set but came back to win 3-1. Jordan Thompson, who leads the country in kills, had 26.

The Bearcats have taken #6 Pitt to a 5th set with a trip to the Sweet Sixteen on the line.

After falling behind 4-0 in the 5th set, the Bearcats rallied for a 15-13 victory! Next up is Penn State next weekend in the Sweet Sixteen.

UC had the equivalent of a 7 seed, and beat 10 seed VCU and 2 seed Pitt to advance.

The Bearcats will travel to Stanford to take on 3 seed equivalent Penn State, Friday at 8pm on WatchESPN. If they win, they'll likely face Stanford Saturday on ESPNU.

UC took Penn State to a 5th set, but ended up losing 3-2. I was a great run. Quite an accomplishment for a team that wasn't ranked all year.
