I've seen talk that DV should be coming off the bench. Also, I think we all have issues with the substitution pattern.
So who would you start, and the top 3 guys off the bench as well.

C Gates
F Thomas
F LS
G DV
G Wright

Bishop
Davis
Dixon
Toyloy

I would still start Deonta, but use Bishop and Dixon alot (for driving to the basket), as well as using Davis for some firepower off the bench.

Herein lies the problem. We should not be playing 3 guys off the bench, unless certain circumstances warrant.

PG - Cash (Just let him play)
SG - Lance
SF - Bishop
PF - Yancy
PF - Ira

1st sub: DV for Bishop, then Lance slides to the SF position.

We don't make any other subs until 12 minutes left in the first half. At that point we sub Toyloy/Wilks for one of the bigs and Parker for Cash.

Shorten the rotation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with shortening the rotation, but Davis deserves time, as well as Dixon. Toyloy must come in, as our guys get tired and foul prone.
Deonta could still be a major contributor, but he needs to drive to the basket, and draw some fouls. Our best FT shooter never goes to the line.

Toyloy should only come in if they are in danger of only having 4 guys on the court. He can't stay out of foul trouble and cannot shoot the ball worth a lick. The bench needs to be 2 MAX

PG- Cash
SG- DV
SF- Lance
PF- Yancy
PF- Thomas

6- Bishop for DV or Lance
7- Wilks/Toyloy for Yancy or Thomas
8- Davis for DV or Bishop

There is no reason why our starters are not getting 30+ min if they aren't in foul trouble. Also, you could sub in a Parker or Dion to give the guys a 1 or 2 min break then sub them back out!

DV maybe cash and go fastt
Lance
Rashad
Yancy
Thomas

Push the ball, fast. Lance can do serious damage pushing the ball getting to the rim. Dont give our half court offense a chance to set up, because as we all know that wont end well.
